Well, our unofficial "book club" has finished what we set out to accomplish!! After approximately a year (give or take) we are quite proud to say we've read "Total Truth" by Nancy Pearcey. The subtitle to this book is "Liberating Christianity from It's Cultural Captivity" and it's definitely not read for entertainment. At times it was a tough read but we all agreed it was wonderful to have read it. It changes the way you think - the way you accept what the media says, the way you read other books and the conversations you have with both believers and unbelievers. We agreed it was good to have the accountability of a group to get through it - I may have put it down if I didn't have the group to keep me plugging through.
