Philadelphia, Blue Bell, New York City ...

As I publish this, I'm thinking people will think all we do is either have company or go away. The last few months have had an unusual amount of this type of activity - but it's been fun. This past weekend we attended a wedding in Blue Bell (Dave & Laura) and added a few days to the weekend. We had a nice time socializing with people from Blue Bell, as well as met up with friends who had travelled to attend the wedding. On Saturday we drove to New York City and experienced driving in the city (much to Henry's delight), hailing a cab, walking in Central Park and watched "Phantom of the Opera" in the theatre district. It was a fantastic day - but we both agreed that one day gave us our fill of New York City. The rest of the time we enjoiyed the history in Philadelphia - Valley Forge, historical buildings and monuments and just relaxed.

Ladies' Retreat

A few weeks ago I enjoyed an overnight retreat with a group of ladies that have been doing this for the past two years. We had a very nice time together - some serious discussions, lots of laughter, good weather and a beautiful view at DeRoche Retreat in B.C.
