Quad School Track & Field 2012

Here's a few snapshots of Alec at the Quad School Track & Field meet in Abbotsford, BC. Our school participates in this event each year - all 6th and 7th grade students choose 4 events that they're good at & compete against 3 other Christian school in the valley. Alec is so proud of his blue ribbon in the 100 m race - an event that he really takes seriously. He took away a few more in the long jump and triple jump - who says you need long legs to be fast!

Here's a few pictures of Alec opening birthday gifts during his "birthday" dinner. I can't believe he just turned 13 - where has time gone? Hopefully the weather will warm up a bit and we'll take him and some friends to the water slides to celebrate.
