Farewell Danae!

Today our house was filled with Hannah's friends - a get-together to bid farewell to Danae who will be moving to Australia soon. Here's the group of girls playing indoor games. It was a rainy day but that didn't put a damper on the fun! The group gave Danae a quilted pillow with personalized messages on each square and a group photo in the middle. They will miss her a lot!

Jocelyn Graduates from Eighth Grade

This past weekend was a fun-filled one - with Friday night being Jocelyn's 8th Grade Graduation. There were 10 students graduating that evening. Here's a few photos. The top one is of Jocelyn and her friend Danielle who plans to move to Australia in a few weeks.

Happy 8th Birthday, Alec

It's been a few weeks, but here's a few photos of Alec's birthday celebration. On Memorial Day (the day before his birthday) we went boating on the ocean with two other families on their boats. We docked at a couple different islands, both had state parks on them and are accessible only by boat. We just hiked and had a picnic but we hope to come and camp over during the summer. Since this was fresh in our minds, Alec's cake was a deep sea cake (and because it was easy to make).
